On
Being a Healer
by Liz Hilton
When my dog nuzzles my hand if I am solemn – she is my healer and my
husband is my constant healer. Hills and lakes, whose task is to heal
us, surround me, and the entire plant kingdom has this role too. We
can be aware of the healers in our lives and this awareness strengthens
the “medication”. I believe healing lies in all things.............
Loving
Friendship by
Susanna Michaelis
We come into this world as a unique manifestation of Divine love. Anyone
who has looked deeply into the eyes of a new baby and experienced a
shock of recognition, or a wake-up call to the wisdom in this child,
will know that the essence of this baby is love... What we are doing
when we begin to be in loving relationship with ourselves is cultivating
a more powerful form of consciousness to displace the negativity and
the wounds and pains of life, and bring ourselves into an awareness
of our true essence- the essence of Love. And as we remember loving
compassion for ourselves we are able to be more loving to others..............
How
Cranio-Sacral Therapy can help You and Your Family
By Lynn Shamal Dip
CST MGCP
At the core of Cranio-Sacral Therapy is the belief of an innate intelligence
for health within us all. By giving babies and children the chance and
support they require to heal early traumas, they can be free to reach
their full potential for life. It is never too late to heal the effects
of a difficult pregnancy or birth, but the sooner the better, before
the memory becomes a more permanent holding pattern throughout life............
The
Healing Power of Flowers Adam
Rubinstein
Flowers are the crowning achievement of the plant kingdom, divine creativity
expressed through heavenly scents and stunning displays of colour. This
divine nature is also present on a subtle vibrational level, where each
flower carries a unique life-affirming pattern of energy that we absorb
when we're near them, and can also use for healing............
Why
We Should Move With The Flow Adam
May
If the traffic lights of your life are permanently on red or
green you are not fully alive. I have written before of how
compulsive sensation seeking and activity can itself be a way
of people avoiding what is truly important to their growth and
development............
The
Art of Being: Living in the Present Moment
Susanna
Michaelis
How, in our busy, non-stop world do we become more of a human
BEing and less of a human DOing? How can we slow down and enjoy
the 'precious moment', the gift of NOW, and still accomplish
all we need to do? How do we bring spirit, the awareness and
presence of love, into the matter and movement of our lives?.......

Why
We Should Get Over Ourselves Adam
May
In childhood
we concluded that our parents valued certain ways of being above others
and we fell into a lifelong habit of presenting ourselves in the light
of this perception......In straining to maintain this sense of self
we make ourselves inauthentic and unreal. We become victims of our own
publicity, placing between ourselves and the world a false self........
Compassion
by Susanna Michaelis
For myself, I experience compassion as a stirring in my heart that moves
me to action, small or large. I feel my heart open, my ego shrink and
I am moved to touch, or hold, to pray or write a letter, to phone or
make a journey. The
action itself is not important, it is the motivation that counts. I
am moved by the understanding of the suffering of another, and feel
it as my own. Then I long to let that other know that they are not alone,
that I understand, that I offer my friendship, support and, most importantly,
my love. Because, after all, that is what compassion is to me. It is
love in action........
Why
People Sometimes Just Seem To Mentally Collapse Adam
May
Most of us
find life an effort some of the time. It's commonly said that there
is something about modern life that makes this so, but I tend to think
we just sometimes tend to make life hard for ourselves regardless of
our situation. At such times it can all just seem too much........
Alternative
Weddings
Susanna Michaelis
It is my pleasure to help the couple design and create the ceremony
of their choice. Couples may choose to have relatives read favourite
poems or blessings, friends to sing or play musical instruments, a time
of silence, a dance or whatever they would like to include in their
special day.
As
an Interfaith Minister and celebrant I am able to offer a service that
honours your belief systems. It is my aim to create a sacred space where
the couple may commit to each other blessed by the gods, goddesses,
God, Spirit, the Buddha or whoever represents the source of Love for
you....
Why
You Should Trust
Adam May
By
being trusting, you spare yourself from being perpetually mistrustful,
suspicious, anxious and paranoid. The harm others can do to you is as
nothing compared to the harm you do to yourself by closing your heart
to them....
Why
Do We Bother?
Adam May
People who don’t feel their passion are suppressing it for it lies in
everyone. Despite all the difficulties of life, despite all the bad
things that happen, despite the fact that we know we will die one day,
somewhere inside ourselves there is a source of courage and optimism
which keeps us going. We just don't seem to be able to stop ourselves....

Bright
Raiment
(Charity Shop Blues)
The
clothes I seek
are sumptuous.
Nobody wears them yet.
They're sewn in silk
and sequinned,
diaphanous and sleek.
They're feathered fine
and gusseted.
They're fabulous, unique.
Wearing them
transforms me -
I'm goddess, icon, pet.
Once seen
I'm unforgettable.
I haven't found them yet.
